Software QA Engineer

Job DescriptionProver is seeking a Software QA Engineer in Algiers to join our tools development team.As a Software QA engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.This position will offer an opportunity to work on new and ongoing projects with a diverse international team and in good work conditions.

Mission :

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for software products.
• Conduct manual and automated testing to identify and report defects.
• Work closely with the development team to reproduce and isolate issues, and collaborate to ensure timely resolution of defects.
• Create and maintain testing environments and test data for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.
• Ensure that testing activities are well-documented and that test results are clearly communicated to relevant stakeholders.
• Continuously improve the testing process by incorporating new tools, technologies, and methodologies.

Profil :

• Academic degree in computer science, software engineering or similar.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• High reliability and trustworthiness.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience with manual and automated testing techniques.
• Experience with test case management tools.
• Experience with software development methodologies (e.g. Agile).
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, etc.) and testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Appium, etc.).
• Knowledge of Unix-style operating systems such as Linux.
• Knowledge about mixed platform build environments (cygwin/wsl).
• Proficiency in Bash and Python.
• Ability to work in a multicultural and diverse environment.
