Basic Programming & Scripting : Familiarity with Java, Python, and Shell scripting to understand various system processes and automation.

Database Basics : Understanding database concepts, SQL basics, and possibly exposure to popular RDBMS like Oracle, MySQL, etc.

Networking Fundamentals : Networking protocols, IP addressing, and data transmission basics.

Operating Systems : Basic understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
