- Jotun Algerie, established in 2011, is one of the key markets within the MEIA region.
- With a production facility Jotun Technover P SPA since 2022 and a rapidly growing team with 1 production facility, 2 warehouses and more than 80 employees, we aim to further strengthen Jotun’s position in Algeria through ambitious market growth plans that focus on innovation, efficiency and profitability.
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
- Join our dynamic and inspiring environment to lead and manage the marketing function by driving the development, planning, implementing, and evaluating local marketing strategies in line with corporate and regional guidelines to strengthen the company’s image and reputation, while increasing Jotun brand awareness and driving sales growth.
- This position will report directly to the General Manager, be a member of the Management Team, and will be based in Algiers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement local marketing strategies, action plans, budgets, and resource allocation aligned with regional and corporate guidelines to ensure strong brand positioning and sustainable growth across multiple segments.
- Drive profitable growth by supporting the execution of regional marketing strategies in the local market and contributing as a key member of the management team.
- Lead and develop the marketing team by setting clear objectives, coaching, monitoring performance, and ensuring operational excellence in line with company values.
- Plan and oversee marketing activities including market research, product development support, product launches, advertising campaigns, pricing strategies, and performance monitoring to maximize market share and profitability.
- Strengthen brand presence by managing relationships and promotional activities with key stakeholders such as architects, developers, designers, and major shipyards, while enhancing brand image through events, exhibitions, and media initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Regional Marketing, and R&D to support distribution concepts, innovation programs, and product development, ensuring alignment with long term business objectives.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
- 6 to 8 years of experience in marketing management and strategy development, brand management, and campaign execution, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Flexibility to travel within the country as required.
- Fluency in English is a must.
