Role Summary
Performs all-around maintenance and repair services in several crafts such as electrical, carpentry, welding, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, and mill-weighing at a moderately complex level. Applies journey level skills in a primary craft and skills in other crafts gained by practical experience 
Typically requires an in-depth understanding of maintenance history of the building, equipment, and other facilities to be maintained.
The person will be in charge of plant maintenance mechanical & piping activities execution.
The technician will be affected to the maintenance department (mechanical section), under the Technical Support Team Leader (engineers).
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
He will be in charge of following activities:
• Permit to work preparation 
• Mechanical interventions completion & supervision
• Ensure tasks quality execution (Personal safety, good practices…etc.)
• Maintenance reporting prepare & Maximo data logging (working hours & quick reporting)
• Maintenance plans prepare & update for all preventive and corrective work Uses expertise for diagnosis and emergency repairs.
Provides preventive and cost-efficient repairs.
Uses all shop machinery and hand tools.
Acts as leader for less-skilled assistants.
Consults with engineers and vendors
Qualification / Requirements :
• Education: Bac + 3 years (Mechanical Foreman) / at university or without bac + 10 years’ experience required
The technician needs to be skilled on mechanical equipment maintenance & repair. He must be familiar with following tasks:
Rotating machines alignment (dial gauge & laser)
Rotating machines maintenance & repair (centrifugal pumps, dosing pumps, screw air compressors, gearboxes…etc.)
Static equipment maintenance & repair (valves, pneumatic actuators, heat exchangers…etc.)
Argon welding technics
Intervention report preparation & spare parts recommendation
Able to work at height
Arabic & French fluent (English language will be a plus)
