Quote and Technical Product Support Specialist (Biologiste/Chimiste)

Job purpose : 
The goal of the position is to increase sales of products and promote the VWR offer by preparing trade offers and calculations
and valuations, technical assistance and advice to internal and external customers in choosing the right range and follow up
the offers.
The person in this position is responsible for technical consultancy for the Sales Department and directly for the customer,
choosing the right assortment, suggesting replacements, preparing and following the offer, actively promoting the VWR offer,
maintaining and building relationships with existing and new customers and suppliers through telephone contact and e-mail.
Main tasks :
Active promotion of VWR products and its offers by direct mailing with the clients, Channel Partner as well as sporadic direct contact with key clients.
Preparation of commercial offers, calculations and valuations, technical assistance and advice to internal and external
clients in the selection of the right assortment with the aim of constantly increasing the sales value of the entrusted product group.
Successfully closing the sale (follow-up) with the support of the sales team.
Developing strong relationships with clients, informing customers about current promotions.
Support for promotional programs (marketing campaigns) of product groups, marketing of goods included in the scope of
assigned product groups.
Analysis and handling of contracts and price inquiries in order to increase the likelihood of the most favorable sales
conditions, preparation of valuations for tenders.
Interactions and price negotiations with clients.
Managing the structure of discounts offered to clients with the sales team 
Providing professional service and technical advice for the
client
Maintaining current customer data in the CRM system.
Maintaining trade relations with producers of the assortment, with other foreign and domestic suppliers and with persons
responsible for similar assortment groups in the VWR Group.
Participation in training organized by producers of the assigned assortment. Conducting trainings in this field for co-workers and / or a very detailed description of the subject of the training.
Constant cooperation with Trade Representatives / Regional Sales Mangers and providing them with suggestions regarding the entrusted
product group and observed market trends.
Consultation with the Superior of important offers and interesting conversations with clients. Ongoing analysis, market
monitoring and reporting on activities in the form agreed with the supervisor.
Participation in fairs and seminars.
Continuous improvement and improvement of professional qualifications.
Reliable execution of the staff orders of the superiors and the assumed annual goals of the Personal Management Plan.
Taking care of entrusted property and using it only for business purposes
Immediate informing superiors about all irregularities related to the work being done.
Qualifications and experience : 
Previous / current experience in a similar position at least 3 years;
Higher education (preferably chemical or related lab area) - or equivalent experience
Proficient computer skills
Knowledge of the SAP / CRM system
Fluent in French, English, Arabic is a plus
Excellent communication and telephone skills
Ability to work both in a team and independently.
