About the Job
The British School Algiers is seeking a motivated Human Resources Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis
Responsibilities
Assist in recruitment processes, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Coordinate employee onboarding activities, including paperwork, orientation sessions, and training logistics.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
Assist in drafting HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement, performance management, and professional development.
Prepare paperwork for staff, such as payslips, work certificates, and other documents as needed.
Respond promptly to employee inquiries and provide assistance on HR-related matters.
Collaborate with the HR Officer to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Previous experience in HR administration or a similar role preferred.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
