Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Executive Chocolate Chef to lead our chocolate production team. As the Executive Chocolate Chef, you will oversee all aspects of chocolate creation, from recipe development and production to quality control and innovation. You will be responsible for maintaining our high standards of craftsmanship while continuously exploring new flavors, techniques, and trends in the chocolate industry. Responsibilities: - Develop and create new chocolate recipes that align with our brand's vision and market trends. - Lead and manage a team of chocolatiers and production staff, providing guidance and training as needed. - Ensure all chocolate products meet our quality standards and are produced efficiently. - Collaborate with other departments such as marketing and sales to develop seasonal and specialty products. - Manage inventory and ingredient sourcing to maintain consistent production schedules. - Maintain a clean and organized production environment that meets food safety standards. - Monitor and control production costs to meet budgetary goals without compromising quality. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Chocolatier or Executive Chocolate Chef, with a strong portfolio of chocolate creations. - In-depth knowledge of chocolate-making techniques, including tempering, molding, enrobing, and flavor development. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Understanding of food safety standards and regulations. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts, or a related field preferred.
