About Us:
Salvo Grima Group operates in eight countries in Europe and Africa, specialising in international trade and travel retail. We supply and operate several Travel Retail Duty-Free outlets at airports and cruise ports across the Mediterranean region, including airports in Algiers and Oran. Our product range includes skincare, tobaccos, liquors, and more. Role Summary: Our Group is due to launch a new set of duty-free outlets at airports in Algeria and therefore require smart and customer-oriented Sales Associates/Cashiers to join our Group. Since our Duty-Free operations is 24/7, the ability to work additional or flexible hours and to travel at short notice is essential. Experience in sales involving retail or airport operations would be considered an asset, however, training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude. Key Responsibilities: · Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and offering appropriate product recommendations. · Achieve individual and store sales targets by actively promoting products and upselling. · Handle customer transactions, including cash, card, and digital payments, efficiently and accurately. · Ensure the store is well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing by following merchandising guidelines. · Stay informed about product features, promotions, and travel retail trends to assist customers effectively. · Maintain compliance with duty-free and customs regulations. · Assist with stock replenishment, inventory checks, and reporting discrepancies. · Handle customer queries and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner. · Collaborate with team members to create a positive shopping experience for customers. · Ability to stand for extended periods and lift stock or merchandise as needed. · Ability to work night shifts. · Reporting accurately and clearly on activities undertaken; · Carrying out any other task which may be reasonably required in this position.
