Role PurposeThe O&M Sourcing Specialist is responsible for managing sourcing, procurement, and contracting activities related to Operations & Maintenance (O&M) for thermal power plants assets.The role ensures cost-effective, timely, and compliant sourcing of services, spare parts, and long-term maintenance contracts to support asset performance and availability throughout the operational phase. Key Responsibilities Sourcing & ProcurementLead sourcing activities for O&M services, spare parts, consumables, and specialized interventions for thermal power plants assets (Simple & combined).Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with asset lifecycle, budget, and operational requirements.Prepare RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs; manage tender processes end-to-end.Conduct commercial evaluations, cost analysis, and supplier comparisons. Contracting & Supplier ManagementSupport negotiation of O&M contracts, framework agreements, and service-level agreements (SLAs).Ensure contracts reflect technical requirements, KPIs, HSE standards, and risk allocation.Manage supplier onboarding and performance monitoring in collaboration with O&M teams. Operational SupportAct as the procurement interface for ongoing O&M activities, including urgent or unplanned requirements.Support spare parts strategy, obsolescence management, and long-term service planning.Track contract compliance, pricing structures, and validity periods. Cost & Performance OptimizationIdentify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality and asset reliability.Support benchmarking of O&M costs and supplier performance across assets or projects.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within O&M sourcing processes. Governance & ComplianceEnsure sourcing activities comply with internal procurement policies and applicable regulations.Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all sourcing and contracting activities.Support HSE, quality, and sustainability requirements in supplier selection and contracting. Required Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in supply chain, Procurement, Business, or a related field.Fluency in English and Franch is mandatory.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, with strong exposure to O&M activities.Proven experience in the Gas Power energy sector (simple and combined-cycle power plants).Strong understanding of O&M contracts, service agreements, and spare parts sourcing.Experience working in a project-based or asset-based operational environment. Skills & CompetenciesStrong negotiation and commercial analysis skills.Ability to manage multiple sourcing activities in parallel.Good understanding of technical O&M requirements and asset operations.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Structured, detail-oriented, and results-driven approach.Proficiency in procurement tools, ERP systems, and MS Office.
