eTalent is recruiting for one of its clients a Senior System Administrator.As Senior System Administrator is responsible for administering Windows environment and managing office automation technologies installed in the company. This includes server installation and administration, Server Operating system configuration, coordination, control, hardening, maintenance, backup, troubleshooting, server security and usage monitoring.Principal Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Deliverables of RoleAs the Windows technologies server administrator, lead in ensuring secure, reliable, highly available and scalable infrastructure environment for allocated applications. Some core responsibilities include:Administer Active Directory Infrastructure, internal DNS & DHCP servers.Administer Microsoft Exchange Infrastructure.Administer mobile device management solution.Administer and Support BACKUP System including media and offsite storage.Install, configure and maintain servers in accordance with company policies, guidelines and procedures.Second Responsible of DATA CENTER environment.Manage & support the company's SAN solution (Storage Area Network) and Blades Servers including capacity planning as backup Administrator.Monitor and manage system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.Manage & support the company’s SAN solution (Storage Area Network) and Blades Servers including capacity planning.Perform root cause analysis on Infrastructure issues and prepare detailed incident reports for high severity problems.Other accountabilities include :Develop technical standards documentation including operational procedures.Hardening of all applications and Windows Server operating systems supported by Infrastructure team in line with Information Security baseline policies.Ensure 24x7 availability of assigned applications and services.Maintain order of scheduled maintenance tasks.Perform or assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing production problems; corrects identified problems. Perform system security related tasks as outlined in company policies, procedures and guidelines.Test, Deploy and manage new technologies in the server administration arena adopted by the company.Perform other miscellaneous technical duties as assigned by the line manager.Participate in company’s Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery testsRisque, Conformité et Continuité de l’activité :At all times, act with due care, skill and diligence to ensure compliance with company’s risk culture, policies and procedures, Code of Conduct and Values.Escalate risk and compliance issues in a timely manner to your line manager, and ensure that all mandatory training is completed to schedule. Participate in exercises an emergency situation.Job Requirements:KnowledgeWorking experience on latest Microsoft Server Operating systems and office automation applications. Practices and methods of systems administration and maintenance Good understanding of network protocols and usability Data storage and communications, Principles, practices, and techniques in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of server hardware and software. Microsoft Active directoryMicrosoft ExchangeServer virtualization technologiesMobile Device Management applications.System backup tools.Tape library management and administrationEducation / CertificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information SystemExperience3-5 years’ hands-on experience in related IT areas.Personal AttributesThe candidate should have excellent communication skills (oral/written), team player, ability to travel, ability to adhere to bank policies and procedures, ability to follow the line manager instructions.
