Contractual obligations are an integral part of any project; do you have what it takes to handle all our contractual matters, you may be our Contracts STAR, feel free to contact us with an updated CV of yours.Job SummaryThe Contracts and Commercial Coordinator support the effective administration of contracts and commercial activities to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations, commercial targets, and company policies. The role assists in managing contract documentation, monitoring commercial performance, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to safeguard the organization’s financial and legal interests while meeting client expectations.Job Responsibilities Assist in the preparation, review, and administration of contracts, subcontracts, and service agreements.Maintain proper documentation of all contractual correspondence, variations, claims, and amendments.Support the review of tender documents, BOQs, and contractual terms and conditions.Coordinate with project teams to ensure contractual obligations, milestones, and deliverables are properly tracked.Monitor contract compliance and highlight potential risks or deviations to the Contracts/Commercial Manager.Assist in preparing variation orders, change requests, and commercial proposals.Ensure that all contractual documents are properly recorded, updated, and archived in accordance with document control procedures.Support monthly commercial reporting including cost commitments, revenue tracking, and margin analysis.Coordinate with Cost Control and Finance teams to ensure accurate invoicing and payment follow-up.Assist in evaluating subcontractor quotations and commercial submissions.Track subcontractor performance, payment certificates, and contract deliverables.Participate in contract review meetings and maintain records of discussions and action points.Support claims preparation and review of contractor/subcontractor claims in coordination with the Commercial Manager.Ensure that 90% of commercial documentation and reports are submitted accurately and on time.Assist in final account preparation and contract close-out procedures.Maintain commercial logs including variation logs, claims logs, payment logs, and correspondence registers.Assist in risk assessment and commercial impact analysis of project changes.Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and audit standards.Provide administrative and coordination support to the Contracts and Commercial team.Support ERP system updates (preferably SAP) related to contracts, commitments, and invoicing.Contribute to adherence to HSE and company Integrated Management System (IMS) policies.Coordinate with procurement and legal departments when required.Job Knowledge & SkillsStrong understanding of contract administration and commercial management principles.Basic knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC or similar standard forms is an advantage).Ability to review contractual terms and identify key commercial risks.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.ERP knowledge (preferably SAP) is highly preferred.Strong organizational and documentation skills.Good communication and negotiation support skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Job Experience/EducationMinimum 5–8 years of total experience.At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in contracts administration or commercial coordination within construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.EducationBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, Law, or related field.Professional certifications in contract management or commercial management are an advantage.
