Join us and be part of shaping the future of agriculture and dairy in Algeria.The Project Manager will lead and manage the coordination of the Baladna-Algeria project to ensure that this project meets the needs of key internal and external stakeholders. Is accountable for follow the project phases: planning, design, implementation, and operational start-up with successful final delivering and completion, on time, on budget, and to specifications. The position is responsible to provide support in stakeholder engagement and assist with leadership to achieve goals effectively, optimizing employee capabilities, achieves the strategic objectives, and delivers competitive advantage to the group.Key Functional Responsibilities:Project Strategy Design- Lead the development and implementation of strategy for the Baladna-Algeria project, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities and ensuring integration with wider organization strategy.- Ensure the strategies are successfully implemented and meet business needs.Project Management:Be part of the team that manages the interaction between the project management function and the individual divisional subject matter experts, agree on deliverables, presentation, approval, production and continuous review of the Baladna-Algeria project plans and business cases, ensuring integration of activities needed across the organization, compliance with the organization's project and program management framework, and compliance with the organization's wider governance structure and processes.Lead the management frameworks and tools to ensure that they meet the needs of key internal and external stakeholders.Be a member of the project function and assist to drive the project teams and third-party project companies, communicate the necessary outcomes, and provide guidance to achieve these outcomes; manage resources across projects; negotiate the flow of additional team members on and off the team, as needed; and build the capability of the team. Ensure that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined within the project-delivery and teams and acts as subject matter expert in project area. Maintain in-depth understanding of current and emerging technologies, external regulation, and scope of function best practices.Specify the project review process and lead its delivery to ensure that stakeholders are able to evaluate progress and agree on change at appropriate points.Lead and coordinate the closing out to ensure effective handover and transition from the project environment to business as usual and to ensure lessons learned are identified and captured for future reference.Risk and Issue ManagementEnsure that risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints are managed appropriately at program and project levels. Where risks or issues threaten delivery of the program, develop and agree on recovery plans. Lead the design and delivery of project and program assurance reviews, enable the delivery of assurance reviews by independent third parties, and ensure that appropriate actions are taken to resolve any issues, to give senior stakeholders confidence that key projects can deliver according to time, budget, and quality.Project Resource ManagementBe an integral member of the project function and be an active role in the project structure and resource selection. Lead the negotiation and deployment of substantial, complex project resource budgets, providing forecasts and presenting variances with narrative at appropriate review points to ensure effective utilization. Develop and gain agreement to plans for the project, ensuring alignment with strategy; quantify business outcomes, i.e., revenues or other key performance indicators (KPIs); detail expense and headcount budgets; and develop business cases for key aspects, ensuring cross-functional integration.Cross-Functional Responsibilities:Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:Identify and manage stakeholders up to and including top management level and Third-party project companies to create mutually supportive working relationships and to ensure that each stakeholder has an appropriate share of voice at project level, finding out their needs, issues, and concerns and reacting to them by leading and coordinating the development of stakeholder engagement plans to support the communication of business information and decisions. Create and manage internal and external partnerships, connecting different internal stakeholders and departments to innovators in the ecosystem. Set the strategy for market research within the innovation space, ensuring insights and opportunities are communicated to the right level. Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.Leadership, Direction:Communicate the strategy and its relationship to the organization's mission, vision, and values; clarify the actions needed to implement this strategy within the area of responsibility; motivate people to commit to the mission, vision, and values and do extraordinary things to achieve the organization's business goals. Build capabilities elsewhere in the organization.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or areas related (Master’s degree preferred)15+ years of experience roles within relevant projects.Strong background and proven successful track record of at least 7 years leading projects External accreditations like PMP – PMILanguage:Fluency in English. A knowledge of Arabic and/or French would be an advantage.Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:1. Expertise in budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis related to projects.2. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards relevant to projects, including environmental and ethical considerations.3.
