Prepares variety of legal documents under guidance of Legal Director and firm management, including summonses(Convocation), subpoenas(Assignations), complaints, and responses
Supports attorney trial proceedings, assisting in collecting evidence, compiling artefacts, consolidating facts, preparing documents as needed, and tracking cases
Develops cases by providing research for assigned attorney, maintaining communications with involved parties, and cataloging information provided
Maintains regular communication with clients, helping to keep them informed on case progresses
Schedules depositions, arbitrations, and other meetings
Read case law, make notes, and/or prepare briefs as needed
Organize and archives files and supporting documents
Verifies information provided as appropriate
Follow up of the payment.
Case/dispute handling: Provide all necessary support for handling various cases/disputes
Compliance risks supporting: Provide daily compliance and legal support for compliance events.
Transaction supporting: provide timely, efficiency, professional support to all aspects daily transactions, including but not limited to sales contract review, procurement contract review, documents exchanged with supplier, bank, related authorities
Daily and comprehensive legal research related to business operation of the comapny
Legal Assistant Skills and Qualifications:
Keen legal risk awareness and good communication skills
Research skills, Legal knowledge, Administration skills, Organisation skills, Ability to support client confidentiality, Strong analytical skills, Ability to work as part of a team, Strong attention to detail, Ability to detect similarities and trends, both within new information provided and with previously processed details, Strong English negotiation Skills
Experience working in a legal setting strongly preferred, Minimum two-year degree working experience required, Bachelor's degree preferred
