ITECCS (Institute of Technology, Engineering, Computing, and Computational Sciences: iteccs.com) is seeking a skilled Moodle LMS Developer & Course Operations Specialist (Remote – Tunisia) to support and enhance our institutional learning platform. ITECCS is a research and education institute advancing applied mathematics, artificial intelligence, engineering, and scientific computing, delivering graduate-level education, professional certificates, and research-integrated programs. This role combines technical Moodle development, course structuring, and operational LMS management. Responsibilities include customizing and maintaining Moodle (Boost-based theme), modifying SCSS and UI styling, managing plugins and integrations, troubleshooting technical issues (PHP, MySQL, Linux basics), optimizing performance and platform stability, organizing and uploading course materials (PDFs, videos, quizzes, assignments), creating clean and structured course layouts, applying consistent formatting and visual hierarchy, improving enrollment flow and homepage presentation, managing user roles and categories, and ensuring a professional, institutional-level appearance across the platform. Candidates must have strong Moodle experience, familiarity with PHP and MySQL, proficiency in HTML/CSS/SCSS, experience customizing Boost themes, and the ability to structure academic content clearly and professionally. Experience with plugin development, UI/UX awareness, Git, and Linux server basics is a plus. This is a remote independent contractor position (part-time or full-time depending on availability) with long-term collaboration potential and competitive compensation based on experience.
