Job SummaryThe Senior Quantity Surveyor manages all cost aspects of civil and building projects from start to finish. Responsible for minimizing project costs, maximizing revenue, and maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and track project costs, variations, and cash flow. Prepare and submit payment applications, cost reports, and valuations. Administer subcontracts and ensure compliance with company procedures. Coordinate with site and technical teams to gather progress data. Handle client instructions, variation orders, and related documentation. Prepare subcontractor payment certificates and ensure timely processing. Ensure accurate scope changes are documented and approved. Support contract correspondence and commercial negotiations. Skills & KnowledgeProficient in cost management software (CCS Candy), AutoCAD, MS Office. Strong knowledge of standard measurement methods (NRM2, CESSMMIII, QCS, FIDIC). Experienced in preparing BoQs, cost value reconciliations, and subcontract packages. ERP systems knowledge (preferably SAP). ExperienceMinimum 8 years of experience (5 in a relevant role, 2 in GCC preferred).
