What You’ll Do :
Lead the design practice across all the organization;
Establish, optimize, and maintain the internal design processes;
Push and maintain a high design quality and standards;
Define a vision and strategy for the design teams;
Establish YASSIR's design vision and principles that guide the teams;
Articulate business goals for design teams to ensure alignment;
Inspire, coach and grow inhouse designer and design leaders;
Build and scale teams to match the business ambitions;
Build a highly collaborative relationship internally and with other departments;
Participate in shaping the product strategy and contribute to the overall product roadmap;
Actively contribute to the improvement of existing products, through audits and reviews;
Stay in touch with industry news and business;
Develop a thorough knowledge of Yassir clients;
Create an environment conducive to well-being at work and be responsible for the growth and performance of each designer, as well as the team as a whole;
In collaboration with your team, you organize and distribute the work;
You are also present during the design and development of projects, providing advice and solving any technical problems;
Present and share the projects and missions carried out by the design team to the whole company;
Setting up UX and UI objectives and KPIs;
You will also be in charge of operational missions in UI/UX Design.
What You'll Need :
Minimum of 3 years of college with a degree in Design, Communication, Marketing and/or equivalent;
5+ years of experience in digital product design and launch;
A portfolio presenting your work, with case studies detailing your approach and process;
High-level technical knowledge of the entire product development process;
Strong visual skills and complete mastery of design principles;
A strong sense of aesthetics;
Full understanding of the platforms our products exist on. iOS, Android, and Web;
Able to think systems;
Ability to solve problems with an analytical mindset while being detail oriented;
Proven leadership skills and ability to mentor teams;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Presentation skills;
A visionary who can inspire and strategize;
Strong knowledge of UX, the full spectrum of design, design patterns and concepts;
Experience in managing creative teams and agile methods (scrum and others);
Experience building design systems;
A lifelong learner and an inquisitive mind.
