Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Next.js Developer who will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using React.js concepts and modern front-end development practices. You will play a crucial role in profiling and enhancing front-end performance, as well as documenting our front-end codebase to ensure clarity and maintainability.
Responsibilities
Develop new user-facing features using React.js/Next.js
Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members
Document and refactor codebase for maintainability and scalability
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Extensive experience with HTML5 and CSS3, along with CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS.
Experience with Tailwind CSS for efficient styling and component composition
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with a focus on Next.js and TypeScript.
Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript (ES6+)
Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
Familiarity with RESTful APIs
Experience with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
A knack for benchmarking and optimization
Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
