Senior QA Engineer

CONTEXT:
A Senior QA Engineer ensure the quality and reliability of software products, leveraging your expertise to drive testing excellence and contribute to the delivery of exceptional user experiences in a dynamic software development environment
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Test Planning and Strategy:
Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure thorough test coverage and mitigate risks throughout the software development lifecycle.
Test Execution and Automation:
Execute manual and automated tests, analyzing results, identifying defects, and driving the adoption of test automation to improve efficiency and scalability.
Quality Assurance Processes:
Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and best practices, including test case management, defect tracking, and regression testing, to maintain high standards of product quality.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and ensure alignment on quality goals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team and across the development organization, identifying opportunities to optimize testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge:
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual and automated testing methodologies.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and QA best practices.
Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit).
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
