Finance & Account Manager
Job Summary: The Finance Manager will assist the CFO in overall financial activities, provide strategic financial guidance, and ensure the effective management of the company’s financial operations and internal control.
He shall support CFO in following key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Develop and manage the company’s financial planning and analysis processes.
Prepare detailed budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports for external stakeholders.
Budget Management:
Monitor and manage the company’s budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
Conduct regular budget reviews and variance analyses.
Implement cost control measures and financial policies to optimize spending.
Cash Flow Management:
Manage cash flow to ensure the company has sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
Develop strategies to improve cash flow and working capital.
Financial Strategy and Advisory:
Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies.
Provide financial insights and guidance on business decisions, investments, and strategic initiatives.
Support other business development activities.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
Identify and manage financial risks, including credit, market, and operational risks.
Oversee internal controls and audit processes.
Team Management:
Lead and mentor the finance team, including financial analysts and accountants
Foster a collaborative and productive work environment
Manage performance and development of team members.
Experience:
Potential candidate should have around 15 years’ experience in similar functions. Should be currently handling Managerial level responsibilities. Experience in establishing accounting systems/practices in new projects shall be preferred. Those with experience in Auto companies and from the region, will have an advantage.
Qualification:
Professional Accounting qualification like CA, CPA ,CMA or equivalent
Age: around 35 – 45 ears
Other skills: Should be able to communicate in English – both written & Oral.
