Abdi İbrahim, leader of Turkey’s Pharmaceutical Industry, was founded in 1912 in Istanbul by Pharmacist Abdi İbrahim Bey who hadd the healing journey. Abdi İbrahim has the largest product portfolio in the sector, exceeding 200 brands and more than 450 products by developing its own products as well as working with 30 licensors. Today, Abdi İbrahim, is operating in 12 countries outside Turkey, exporting to more than 60 countries ranging from Canada to European Union member states, from North Africa to Asia.
Abdi Ibrahim Remede Pharma (AIRP) was established in 2014 through the merger of Abdi Ibrahim, a Turkish company, and Remede Pharma, an Algerian company. Following this merger, a decision was made to construct one of the largest and most advanced pharmaceutical factories in Algeria, which became operational in 2017.
As part of the development of its activities, AIRP invites you to join our team by applying for the position of Production Planning Specialist, reporting to the Planning and Warehouse Manager.
Role and Responsibilities
The Production Planning Specialist is responsible for:

Analyzing resource needs: Utilizing Excel and SAP to create accurate forecasts and manage production-related data.
Defining raw material requirements: Using Excel and SAP to evaluate annual material needs.
Collaborating with teams: Working closely with production, logistics, and supply chain department to synchronize activities and anticipate challenges.
Scheduling: Creating work orders in SAP and facilitating communication across all operation department
Master Production Schedule (MPS): Updating and maintaining the production schedule.
Material Requirements Planning (MRP): Ensuring the availability of materials in alignment with production schedules and sharing updates with the supply chain department.

Required Skills
To ensure success in this role, we need a candidate who possesses the following skills:

Excel proficiency: Advanced skills, including pivot tables, filters, dashboards, and lookup functions for effective data analysis.
Relevant education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Process Engineering, or Operations Research.
SAP knowledge: A valuable asset to facilitate integration with our systems.
Communication skills: Ability to write reports and communicate effectively in English.
Experience: A minimum of two years in a similar role, with a solid understanding of MRP and scheduling.
