Qualifications/ Experience
Proven experience in domestic cleaning.
Knowledgeable in cooking and preparing varieties of meals.
Ability to work in an environment where confidentiality is paramount and is highly valued.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and to handle valuable or intricate items with care.
A high level of professionalism, including a polished appearance, good manners, and the ability to interact respectfully with high-profile individuals and guests.
Proficiency in various cleaning techniques and products, including knowledge of how to clean and maintain different types of materials and surfaces.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage cleaning schedules, keep track of supplies, and efficiently handle multiple tasks.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to adapt to varying tasks and schedules, including working around events or special requirements.
Ability to communicate in English will be an added advantage.
Duties/Responsibilities
Regular cleaning of all areas, including living rooms, dining rooms, bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchens including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning surfaces.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in areas that require special attention, such as valuable furnishings, antiques, or high-end fixtures by using specific cleaning products and techniques.
Washing, ironing, and organizing laundry for the ambassador and his family including handling delicate fabrics or items with special care.
Assisting with the preparation and cleanup for official events and receptions held at the residence by setting up tables, arranging flowers, or managing the cleanup after events.
Keeping track of cleaning supplies and equipment, and ensuring that the residence is stocked with necessary items. This may also involve ordering supplies when needed.
Adhering to strict confidentiality and security protocols, given the sensitive nature of the environment by maintaining discretion and respecting the privacy of the ambassador and their guests.
Working closely with other staff members to ensure smooth operation and high standards of cleanliness throughout the residence.
Handling any special cleaning requests or tasks as directed by the ambassador or his family member.
