The role ensures cost efficiency, quality compliance, and supplier performance management while maintaining transparency, ethical standards, and alignment with organizational objectives. The Procurement Manager plays a key role in supporting project delivery by implementing strategic sourcing and effective supply chain management practices.Job Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project and organizational objectives.Manage end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.Review and approve purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement documentation.Ensure that materials and services are procured in compliance with project specifications and approved budgets.Lead supplier identification, prequalification, and performance evaluation processes.Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contract conditions to achieve best value for the company.Additional ResponsibilitiesPrepare periodic procurement reports including status of orders, supplier performance, and cost analysis.Lead risk assessments related to supply chain disruptions and implement mitigation strategies.Support tendering teams by providing procurement input during bidding and estimation phases.Ensure ERP system updates (preferably SAP) for purchase orders, contracts, and supplier records.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and supply chain efficiency.Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and company Integrated Management System (IMS) policies.Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and strategic partners.Job Knowledge & SkillsStrong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and contract negotiation.Understanding of construction materials, technical specifications, and project requirements (for construction/engineering environments).Strong commercial awareness and cost analysis skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.ERP knowledge (preferably SAP) is highly preferred.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.Job ExperienceMinimum 10 years of total experience.At least 5–7 years of relevant experience in procurement management within construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.Minimum 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.EducationBachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent are an advantage.
