Missions du poste :
Develop the finance department strategy in line with the company strategy to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing strategies across the group.
Ensure that finance strategies and related strategic plans are developed and implemented, which are aligned with the vision and mission of the group.
Lead the effective achievement of Finance objectives through the leadership of the department – setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal – in order to maximize subordinate and the performance.
Oversee the consolidated budget of all departments and depots, recommend the finance budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and potential areas of cost reduction or performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon
Develop and oversee the finance policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of financial activities so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers.
Supervises the day-to-day operations of finance department to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures.
Monthly sign-off of financials (P&L & B/S) with thorough analysis of monthly results and a clear understanding of the underlying reasons for variances
Monthly financial reporting to stake holders.
Design & review Finance & Accounting policies, procedures, standards and guidelines in accordance with business needs and act as a custodian in ensuring proper compliance across BU’s.
Develop new LOA matrix for new business/ventures & ensure compliance
Liaise with external auditors by coordinating provision of information required, clarifications required, etc. to ensure finalization of audit report on timely basis
Liaise with internal auditors to minimize risks, enhance control & governance process
Ensure optimal insurance coverage over all company assets.
Evaluate market risk on an on-going basis and ensure timely decisions are taken to cover price related risk.
Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
Lead and guide the project management team in the planning, organizing, management and control of various projects in order to ensure that the project cycle is completed, meeting agreed project parameters (cost budget, timelines, scope and quality), standards and objectives
Direct all the activities in monitoring and conducting regulatory and regulations compliance audits and inspections and ensures effective implementation of regulatory standards.
Develops finance organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction, establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives
Profil recherché :
Education: BSC Degree in Accountancy or Finance, Membership of accounting body and holds a professional certification such as CPA/SOCPA/ CMA/CFA.
Language: English and Arabic.
Skills: Very good communication skills, Good knowledge in Excel.
Experience: Five years’ experience in a managerial position of Finance in a large organization.
